I’m a software engineer in Des Moines, Iowa. During the daylight, I’m happily employed by a local technology company and create custom software solutions for our clients. My current projects have me using Microsoft technologies, mainly from the .NET platform (ASP.NET, WPF, WCF, Entity Framework, and SQL Server). In addition to Microsoft’s software development platform, I have previous professional web development experience using Adobe Flex, Actionscript 3, PHP, Javascript, and PostgreSQL, built on a FreeBSD and Apache platform. I have also dabbled in Java, Tcl/Tk, Python, Perl and various Unix-based operating systems. I’m also rather experienced when it comes to computer networks.
During off hours, I can most often be found with my wife Erin somewhere about Des Moines, most likely in our East Village neighborhood. Together we enjoy movies at our theater, local and live music at the many venues around downtown Des Moines, shows from the many local theater companies, local dining, books (we have a home library, complete with ‘Library’ sign to prove it), or just kicking it at home with our geriactric puppy Buddy.
